Amazon Seller Calls Buyer "Scammers" but Inadvertently accepts that Amazon Return Policies are False

"We have no means to trust buyers claim as many of them are scammers." Les Gadgets, an Amazon India seller

The Amazon India seller who delivered me the defective item wrote that in their arrogant, ignorant and massively condescending public comment reply to this blog.

The seller, Les Gadgets, whom we had not even named in the blog since we felt it was a Amazon India policy issue, starts off by telling me that I should read more before I 'scam sellers'. Huh??!!

Just in case I take that as a personal insult this Amazon India seller assures us that they view all buyers somewhat similarly - "We have no means to trust buyers claim as many of them are scammers.". Phew - that clear the air somewhat.

"And we have been ripped off many of you like esteemed buyers" They really are publicly calling me a rip-off artist again after sending me a defective item...Wow

Their insulting, dim-witted sarcasm does not end there: they aver that since 'the product is not manufactured by us or amazon' it 'doesn't mean its end of the world' if its a non functioning device.

Despite disgust at their arrogance I must thank Les Gadgets for publicly acknowledging that the Amazon India 'No Questions Asked" returns policy is that much rubbish.

IF THIS IS WHAT AN AMAZON INDIA SELLER CAN PUBLICLY CLAIM THEN MAYBE ITS HIGH TIME AMAZON CHANGED THEIR 'NO QUESTIONS ASKED RETURN' POLICY.

Update: As promised I returned their non-functional phone. And Amazon finally did refund me minus my courier charges. However that was after they repeatedly disowned their own 'no-questions asked' return for a clearly defective item, after this blog was launched, and after their seller publicly basically called me a scammer.
